Trains & Ferry

Orange County offers two train destinations to New York City: Penn Station and Grand Central Station. Use the list below, categorized by their destination, to find out more about each station.

*All trains in Orange County New York go to Secaucus Junction where there is a PATH train available to Penn Station. They are not direct lines to Penn Station.
Grand Central Station/The Newburgh-Beacon Ferry:
In Newburgh New York (near New Windsor New York) there is a ferry that crosses the Hudson River from the City of Newburgh to the Beacon train stop. The Beacon train goes to Grand Central Station. Click the following links for more information on the Newburgh Ferry and Beacon train.
Park & Ride Shortline Bus service to New York City is available in most towns and villages in Orange County. Visit the Shortline Bus website to view schedules for specific towns.
